Wow! It sure has been a long time since i have posted to this blog. Perhaps, as part of my weekly life, i should find some time to write in this blog. At least posting from time to time can be therapeutic.
For those whom i have had the distinct pleasure of meeting in person, you know that i am not moving toward a full transition but i do enjoy welcoming the feminine into my life. What can i say? i am gender fluid and that is the gift that life has bestowed upon me. A carefully crafted business suit with a tie and matching pocket square? Yes, sir. Soft smelling candles? Yes please. A nice perfume? By all means. A lip color that is perfectly matched to my natural color? Of course! Lotions, creams, moisturizers? Bring them on. i love to be able to embrace all of me and often that means going about the feminine in stealth mode. But i still embrace the feminine.
So, yes, that means that i own matching bras and panties. For years, i have worn panties almost exclusively but i have expanded my collection to include bralettes (easy to wear without easy detection) and bras that don't include padding or underwires. Being slightly (or significantly more than slightly) OCD, this has brought a challenge: how do i store my bras and panties such that the matches are easily pulled together. i thought that the problem was quickly solved by the
Braganizer organizer but, alas, i don't believe that the creator of the Braganizer organizer is continuing sales of the product. [January 14, 2018 update: the creator has some inventory - reach her on Facebook messenger]. Poking around a bit more led me to the
Hanging Secrets organizer, which may be where i settle upon. i liked the Braganizer design over the Hanging Secrets design because i have limited hanging space and more available drawer space.
For now, i will simply be using a storage solution from The Container Store. The Container Store sells
Grey Drawer Organizers, which can be used to stack bras over top of their matching panties. i mean, who really wants to be digging through a drawer full of bras and panties every morning looking for the matching set? Those panties that don't match a particular bra (worn on days when a bra will not be worn) can be easily corralled into a very similar drawer organizer with small square pockets.
The next project will be figuring out the tights, thigh highs and garter belts but that will be a post for another day. For now, it is time to start organizing. And if you have any tips or tricks you have learned over the years for organizing your lingerie collection, please comment on this post below! i look forward to learning more from all of you. :) <3
